Assessment report
What goes into the assessment report
You get a report before you get a quote.
Whether the project works, what it earns, and what could go wrong, in one document.
The GRIDAEND feasibility assessment report is a free first-pass document covering the site overview, regulatory review, grid connection, an energy yield simulation, three revenue scenarios, a risk grading, and a recommended commercial structure.
Contents
Ten sections, every time
Cover and summary
Whether the project is viable, in one sentence, at the front. The detailed reasoning follows.
Site overview
Parcel number, area, land category, land-use zoning designation, the surroundings, satellite imagery, and the cadastral map.
Regulatory review
Municipal setback ordinance, how likely a development activity permit is, farmland and forest conversion requirements, and any other local rules.
Grid connection review
Spare capacity on nearby substations and distribution lines, where the connection queue stands, and the likely connection method.
Energy yield simulation
Annual output and its month-by-month distribution, from irradiance, orientation, and slope.
Installation plan
Installable capacity, a layout, and outline specifications for the equipment needed.
Three revenue scenarios
A 20-year cash flow on conservative, base, and optimistic assumptions.
Every assumption is published.
Commercial structures compared
Roof lease, owner-invested, and investor-funded, compared on the same basis: what each one costs you, and what it returns.
Risk grading
Permitting, grid, community objection, and structural risk graded item by item, each with a response.
Recommendation and next steps
Why we recommend that structure, and the procedure and schedule if you go ahead.
Principles
The rules we write it by
We publish our assumptions
Conversion efficiency, capacity factor, annual degradation rate, unit price — every value behind the calculation goes into the report as it stands.
If it doesn't work, we write that
If the project is blocked by regulation, by the grid, or by the economics, we put the reason in writing. We won't talk you into a project that doesn't stand up.
We guarantee nothing
We do not guarantee a rate of return. We show the range it could fall in, across three scenarios.
Using the report
- · The initial assessment report is a preliminary opinion based on the information you provide and on public records.
- · It does not guarantee permit approval, grid connection, or revenue.
- · Final terms are set by detailed study, consultation with the relevant authorities, and a separate contract.
- · The report is for the applicant’s own review only.
Free assessment
It starts with one line: the site address.
Leave the address and a way to reach you. We send back an initial assessment report within about five business days.
If the site stands up as a project, the report also sets out competitive EPC bids and financing terms.
